 Registrations will be accepted the day of the show but early entries appreciated. Food Booth Available!


Open to all youth 8-21 years old as of 01/01/14

  1. Registration fee is $25.00 per head and includes Showmanship.
  2. Showmanship classes will be available in four age groups: Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior.
  3. Pens will be provided for all animals.  $5.00 per stall is required.  Exhibitor is responsible for providing wood shavings for each pen assigned.  Exhibitor also responsible for cleaning up after done.  (Shavings will be available on site for sale).
  4. Pay outs are the same across the board this year for every specie including goats and Dairy Feeder Calves.
  5. The total number of animals entered will determine the number of classes and class sizes. 
  6. 6. Classes will be determined by individual animal weight and the total number of animals. No min or max weights.
  7. 7. All animals will be weighed by a State Line Show representative. That weight is final, no reweighing will be allowed.
  8. Camping is also available for $20.00 per site, includes electric.
  9. Swine will be having breeds this year and a min. of 5 for a breed class otherwise they will be in an AOB class.  
  10. Sheep: Ewes & Wethers will be shown in the same class.
  11. Beef: Will have a market heifer classes followed by Market Steers.
  12. All out of state livestock must provide health papers. All Sheep/Goats must have scrapies tags. Beef must have RFID tags.
  13. Michigan swine exhibitors are required to have current PQA Certification.
  14. All decisions are made final by State Line Livestock Show Committee.


  1. All market animals must be slick shorn full pelt before they are eligible for check-in.
  2. Humane handling practices of sheep/goats are required at all times.
  3. Generators are allowed and recommended due to limited power.
  4. With limited space showman are welcome to show off trailers.
  5.  Health Requirements- sheep or goats with clinical signs of infectious, contagious, or toxicological disease will not be permitted to show and should not be unloaded at the show site.


  1. No artificial fillers or pumping, violators will be disqualified
  2. Absolutely no use of twine or other artificial hair will be permitted
  3. Generators are welcomed and encouraged

    *NOTE: there will be a breeding heifer show followed by a market beef show
