Show Schedule
Friday, April 17th Fairgrounds open at noon
Check in Starts 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 18th Cattle must be on the grounds by 8:00 a.m.
Steer & Heifer Check-in, Weigh-in & Registration 7:30a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Showmanship - no fit (heifer exhibitors, optional) 10:00 a.m.
Heifer Show will start immediately following showmanship
Sunday, April 19th Steer & Heifer Check-in ,Weigh-in & Registration 7:00a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Showmanship - no fit (heifer exhibitors, optional) 9:00 a.m.
Heifer Show will start immediately following showmanship

There will be a 30 minute break between heifers and steers unless otherwise announced.

General Rules

1. The show will be open to all bona fide 4-H and FFA Members
2. Registration papers or breeders certification must be presented upon entry, if applicable SEE BELOW*
3. Animals must be owned and entered under the name of an eligible 4-H or FFA member.
4. Heifers will be divided according to age and breed and must not be over 2 (two) years of age. Steers must be born after January 1, 2007
5. Animals will be shown by owner with the exception of multiple entries per class.
6. Steers will show by weight and breed. Registration papers MUST be in hand at check-in NO EXCEPTIONS To show under specific breed See BELOW*
7. Only wood chips are allowed in the barn- you MUST clean them up before you leave
8. Please have current and up-to-date health papers on hand at check in.
9. This show is MCA Sanctioned and their rules do apply.
10. Show management reserves the right to interpret the rules or make any decisions regarding the show deemed necessary in the best interest of the event.
* Per MCA rules, Angus steers and heifers, Charolais heifers, Chianina steers and heifers, Gelbvieh heifers, Hereford heifers, Limousin steers and heifers, Maine steers and heifers, Red Angus steers and heifers, Simmental heifers, Shorthorn steers and heifers, Salers heifers, and Santa Gertrudis steers and heifers must all have registration papers in hand upon check in and be in the name of the exhibitor with the appropriate Associations. Otherwise they will show as Crossbreds.

$35 PER HEAD OR $60.00 PER HEAD IF ENTERING BOTH SHOWS

PRE - ENTRIES DUE APRIL 11, 2009 NO refunds after April 11th.

LATE ENTRIES $45.00 PER HEAD / PER RING
SHOWMANSHIP IS $10.00 per show - please indicate when entering non-refundable
$10.00 per head refundable stall fee - separate check, please. This will be given back upon clean up, will NOT be mailed
